Passenger stop Poznań Dębiec.

PKP Poznań Dębiec is a passenger stop that was launched in October 1933, i.e. during the Second Polish Republic. Until 1933, the passenger stop was located a few hundred meters further towards Poznań, but due to the reconstruction of the track system of the Poznań railway junction, it was moved. Currently, the stop is located on 160.758 km of railway line No. 271 Wrocław Główny – Poznań Główny.
At the stop, a small, single-storey brick station was built, covered with a gable roof, with an unused attic. The building housed a waiting room, ticket office and railway service rooms. In 1999, due to the destruction of Polish Railways, the building was abandoned. The building became the subject of an attack by vandals. The building was robbed and its facade was destroyed. In 2012, with the consent of the owner of the building, the building was painted with graffiti. Let’s call it folk patterns. It was an action called “Colour Game”, according to the design of Mr. Paweł Kozłowski.
In 2013, in connection with the renovation of the railway line No. 271 Wrocław Główny – Poznań Główny, the track system, platforms and railway traffic control were renovated. As a result, at the stop we still have two platforms and two platform edges. The platforms are higher. The platform edges are made of burgundy prefabricated slabs, with warning lines and buttons, measuring 1 m x 2 m. The rest is paved with concrete gray paving stones, measuring 0.1 m x 0.2 m. The platforms are equipped with shelters, benches, lighting, audio systems, display cases with railway information, and waste bins. Additionally, fencing has been installed. The dominant color scheme is dark blue.
An important element of the railway stop is the tunnel under the tracks along Czechosłowacka Street. The tunnel is divided into a roadway for cars and a section for pedestrians and cyclists. The tunnel allows people to safely reach the platforms and from one side of the district to the other.
In addition to the two tracks of LK No. 271 Wrocław Główny – Poznań Główny, there are two tracks of the Poznań Commuter Bypass, which connect Luboń – Poznań Starołęka. Near the Poznań Dębiec train stop, there is also bus transport, the Dębiec tram terminus and a TAXI stop.
