This type of platform wagon has 8 axles and is designed to carry loads that, loaded on a wagon of normal construction, would exceed the loading gauge. This cargo could be transformers or turbines used in power stations.

According to available information, 24 units of these wagons were built in Poland, which received numbers 994 5501 – 994 5524. The wagon is adapted to a standard 1,435 mm track. The length over buffers is 24.86 m. The axle spacing of the bogies is 13.20 m. The axle spacing in the bogies is 1.50 m. The wagon weight is 60,200 kg. The wagon width is 2.14 m. The load length is 8.50 m. The load width is 2.75 m. Floor height from the rail head; loaded wagon 592 mm, empty wagon 650-670 mm. Platform area 23.40 m2. The floor is made of steel sheet. Maximum speed 80 km/h. The minimum radius of the track curve is 90 m. Number of axles 8. Standard load up to 80,000 kg. Maximum load up to 99,500 kg, with a symmetrical arrangement of the concentrated load relative to the center of the wagon. Loading and unloading using lifting equipment. The wagon has two bogies. Each bogie is a steel frame in which four wheel sets are mounted. Leaf springs are used. Each bogie has its own brake system, pneumatic and manual.
